Biography

Dannika Byrd began her career at Yale University in 2011 as the Assistant Director for Student Affairs/ Registrar in the Yale Physician Associate Program. Dannika graduated the same year from the University of New Haven's Masters in Industrial Organizational Psychology program. Dannika Byrd is also an active alum of Eastern Connecticut State University, where she obtained two additional degrees in Sociology and Communications. Prior to Yale, Dannika held such roles as Student Services Coordinator for Ridley Lowell Business and Technical Institute, Employee Relations Specialist II for the Mashantucket Gaming Enterprise and Social Worker for the State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families.

Dannika is a member of several committees to include: PA Progress Committee, PA Self Assessment Committee, PA EPCC Committee, PA Admissions Committee, Work Place Survey Committee, Focus Committee and the American Society for Training and Development Academics Committee of Southern Connecticut. Dannika also teaches Career Development Workshops within the community for the New Haven Public Library System.

Dannika enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling and painting with acrylics.
