Biography

Celine graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA (honors) in Psychology. She has served as a research assistant/manager on various multifaceted projects, including neuroimaging and meta-analytic studies, focusing on sleep, emotion regulation, well-being, trauma, dissociation, and internalizing psychopathology. Additionally, she managed the NSF NRT PhD training grant "TRANSCEND" at the University of Connecticut from 2022 to 2024.

At the Yale Stress Center, Celine is interested in conducting multilevel stress research, focusing on investigating the relationships among various types of stress (e.g., trauma, early adversity, chronic stress), cognitive-emotional-behavioral transdiagnostic processes (e.g., emotion regulation, sleep), and both biological health (e.g., metabolic and immune) and mental health, while leveraging precision methods. Her goal is to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychological Science and establish her own lab that bridges multilevel research to better understand the biopsychosocial mechanisms of stress, psychopathology, and well-being.
