Brandon Santhumayor

Dr. Santhumayor is from Piscataway, NJ, and received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied the epigenetics underlying chronic stress. He received his medical degree from the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and graduated with a distinction in research. He pursued an elective research year in cerebrovascular and stereotactic radiosurgery outcomes and was awarded the 2024 AANS/CNS Tumor Section Neuro-Oncology Trainee Award and 2024 ISRS Best Poster Award. He was drawn to the collegial and family-oriented Yale program and looks forward to mentoring medical students, playing pickup basketball, and sampling dessert shops around New Haven to satisfy his sweet tooth.
