On July 31st, Dr. Todd Estroff of blessed memory passed away in his sleep at his home in Atlanta.
Todd had an appetite for life, whether it be good food, fine wines, astronomy, or travel, but he never worried about outward displays, focusing more on interpersonal connections spanning continents. By the time he graduated from Yale Medical school, he had already met his wife Maria of blessed memory in Paris, and married her in Spain.
He described himself as “a scientist and a physician,” someone who “believes in facts not fate, logic not chance.” A no-nonsense man, he deeply valued the personal relationships he made throughout his lifetime, maintaining friendships as far back as high school, and was deeply devoted to the wellbeing of his friends and family, always supportive no matter how difficult the situation.
He leaves behind two daughters, Emmanuelle and Esther, their husbands, and two grandsons; Luca and Nico.
