Biography

Tanner Anderson is a postdoctoral researcher in the Kaye Lab in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale. His research focuses on brain circuits involved in the anxiolytic effects of psychedelic hallucinogens using in vivo and slice electrophysiology. Tanner completed his PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Kentucky in 2025 where he studied how psychedelics alter behavior, synaptic plasticity, and neurophysiology in the claustrocortical synapses.
