On May 5, PA student Jessica Wang, MMSc '27, organized the YSM PA Program’s second annual blood drive, which brought together PA and medical students to support a lifesaving cause. PA student Emily Ritchie, MMSc '27, volunteered with medical students Kesi Wilson, MD-PhD '33; Lily Sutton, MD '29; Rose Bender, MD '26; and Victoria Chen, MD '29, to help make the event a success.
The blood drive resulted in 32 donations from members of the PA and medical student communities. According to the American Red Cross, a single blood donation can help save up to three lives, meaning this year’s drive has the potential to impact as many as 96 lives. The event was a tremendous success and highlights the commitment of YSM students to serving others both inside and outside of the classroom.

Your generosity and commitment to helping others made this event possible and will have a lasting impact on countless lives.
