Biography
Dr. Kong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology (Child and Adolescent Track) at St. John’s University in 2009, and completed her NIDA T32 postdoctoral fellowship focused on adolescent substance abuse in the Division of Substance Abuse at Yale School of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Kong’s current research interests include understanding substance use health disparities among youth, the use of social media for tobacco marketing, novel tobacco use behaviors among youth, and developing innovative adolescent tobacco/cessation interventions for youth.
