Samantha Paull is a Human Factors Engineer at the Yale Center for Healthcare Simulation, focusing on advancing patient safety and healthcare system performance. She works on identifying safety risks, evaluating complex clinical systems, and supporting the design of safer, effective workflows through human factors and systems engineering principles. She brings a multidisciplinary background in human factors engineering, psychology, and healthcare, and collaborates to implement evidence-based, system-level improvements in clinical environments. She holds a Master of Science in Human Factors Engineering from Tufts University and a Master of Science in Psychology, specializing in Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences, from Illinois State University, along with a Graduate Certificate in Human Factors Engineering from Tufts University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from Eastern Connecticut State University and she holds an OSHA General Industry certification.
