The Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence research agenda covers three main areas:

  1. The basic science of emotions, emotional intelligence, and emotion skill development;
  2. Evaluations of social and emotional interventions, programming, and practices, including RULER; and
  3. Methodological advancements in the measurement of social emotional constructs including emotional intelligence skills, well-being, and school climate.
