In addition to a series of on-demand webinars and short videos , an annual meeting showcases the breadth and excellence of work in children's behavioral health, development, and wellbeing at Yale Child Study Center (YCSC) each fall, bringing together YCSC associates to learn about cutting-edge research, clinical innovations, and educational initiatives that embody the center's mission to improve the lives of children and families. 2025 Meeting: Fostering Growth and Healing in Children and Families

The theme of the 2025 meeting centered on resilience, overcoming barriers, and the innovative approaches the center brings to supporting children and families through challenges. The event included three engaging panel presentations with 12 YCSC experts and a lively keynote address delivered by Lauren Tarshis, a Connecticut author and editor. 2024 Meeting: Impacts of the Digital World on Child Health

The 2024 meeting was held in person with keynote speaker Andrew Solomon, PhD, renowned author and National Book Award winner. Leading up to the keynote, participants heard from several leading experts on topics surrounding the theme of the meeting, the impacts of the digital world on children's physical and mental health. 2023 Meeting: Growing a Pipeline to Improve the Lives of Children and Families

The theme of the 2023 virtual meeting was on improving the lives of children and families through innovative research, service, and training with a lens on generativity. 2022 Meeting: Resilience in a Time of Crises

The 2022 meeting was held live via Zoom, with supplemental content provided via a virtual poster session, pre-recorded mini-talks, and select supplemental publications. The theme of the meeting surrounded applying science and innovation to support families during crises.
