VA Connecticut Health Care System: Diagnostic Imaging
The TIAML is part of an ISP service offered by the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the Yale School of Medicine. The goal of the TIAML is to support clinical image-based studies with an emphasis on the use of quantitative image analysis and machine learning techniques. It began operation on July 1st, 2019.
The mission of TIMC is to provide standardized, longitudinal radiological measurements to evaluate therapeutic responses for clinical trials.
With our research in Interventional Oncology, we aspire to improve the detection, characterization, and treatment of neoplastic disease in the liver. This includes the full breadth of translational research in basic science, pre-clinical, and clinical activities.
Health care policy and economic research with respect to radiology is an area of active research by several members of our faculty.
