Medical Student Education

Welcome to the Yale Department of Radiology and Biomedical imaging educational portal for medical students. We are passionate about educating the future healthcare leaders of tomorrow and look forward to having you rotate in our department.

The following website will help orient you to all our educational offerings. Phase 1 includes lectures, small group sessions, radiology labs and team-based learning sessions with students during their first 1.5 years of medical school. Phase 2 is taught to students as they rotate through their clerkship rotations. We encourage all students to enroll in our popular elective in Diagnostic Radiology where students will have the opportunity to rotate through a variety of different departmental sections. We are happy to accept visiting students to our radiology elective.

We offer several free radiology modules for you to review as well as a catalog of interesting case presentations from our medical student elective. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.
