Prakash K. Thomas,
MD, is a lecturer on faculty at the Child Study Center of Yale School of
Medicine. Dr. Thomas is a medical director for Intensive In-Home Child
& Adolescent Psychiatric Services (IICAPS), which seeks to address the
comprehensive needs of children with psychiatric concerns whose families are
unable to maintain them safely at home and for whom traditional outpatient
treatment is not sufficient.
Dr. Thomas is a rounds team
leader for the Child Study Center Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic, supervises
psychiatry residents, and teaches medical students. He works as a staff
psychiatrist at the Clifford W. Beers Guidance Clinic in New Haven, CT.
