Michael D. Ezekowitz, M.D., professor of medicine (cardiology), was appointed chair and presenter of a session on antithrombotic and antiplatelet therapy for coronary disease and poor ventricular function at the 1st International Congress on Heart Disease held in May in Washington, D.C. He also is on several North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (NASPE) working groups and was invited by NASPE to speak in June at the XIth World Symposium on Cardiac Pacing and Electophysiology in Berlin.
