Jeannette R. Ickovics, Ph.D., associate professor of epidemiology and of psychology, was named an Emerging Leader for Women in Psychology by the Committee on Women in Psychology of the American Psychological Association. The award, announced in August at the APA annual meeting in Boston, recognized her accomplishments and contributions to research, interventions and policy on HIV/AIDS among women.
