Elaine E. Grant, PA-C, M.P.H. ’92, assistant dean and program director of the Physician Associate Program, was named president-elect of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), effective in January 2000. She will take office as the organization’s president in 2001. Grant’s election includes a number of firsts. She will be the first representative from the Association of Physician Assistant Programs to serve as president of the NCCPA and will be the organization’s first female president.
