John A. Elefteriades, M.D., HS

John A. Elefteriades, M.D. ’76, HS ’83, professor and chief of cardiothoracic surgery, was appointed chief of the surgical section of the First International Congress on Heart Disease held in May in Washington, D.C. He also began a term as governor of the American College of Cardiology for the State of Connecticut at the annual meeting in April. His term runs until 2002.
