Biography
Ana graduated from Georgia Tech in 2026 with a degree in Neuroscience and two minors in French and Chemistry/Biochemistry. In college, she worked at the Neural Plasticity Research lab at Emory University on an EEG study surrounding multi-sensory integration in younger and older adults during upper-limb movement . In her senior thesis, she investigated the theta band of neural activity in particular and how this neural activity is modulated by different sensory and postural conditions as well as how it changes with age. She also assisted with EEG and eye-tracking studies to aid in autism diagnosis at the Marcus Autism Center. Aside from research, Ana volunteered at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, worked at the Shepherd Center for brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and led a tutoring club that worked with refugee kids. She aspires to become a pediatric neurologist and physician-researcher.
