Biography
Dr. Aarti Patel is a pediatric psychologist with a focus on treatment for youth with a variety of gastrointestinal (GI) conditions. Dr. Patel received her masters and doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN before completing a specialized fellowship training in pediatric psychology at Oregon Health & Science University with a focus in integrated GI Psychology. Dr. Patel's clinical interests include disorders of the gut-brain interaction (DGBIs) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). In addition to clinical care, Dr. Patel is interested in project development, training and supervision, and patient education.
