Office of Research Affairs
The Yale Pathology Office of Research Affairs partners with faculty members, multidisciplinary teams, and institutional resources to advance the strategic priorities of the Department of Pathology to facilitate basic, clinical, and translational research activities, and enhance competitiveness for extramural research funding. Our team provides:
Research Support
- IRB/HIC submissions, modifications, and compliance
- IRES IRB assistance
- Writing and editing human and animal protocols
- Building strategic connections between internal and external resources and potential project collaborators
- Project management, including assistance with team communication, setting and managing internal deadlines, and partnering with pre-award budget staff
Grants and Funding
- Technical editing of proposals for clarity, flow, and alignment with funding opportunity
- Drafting non-scientific proposal content and creating templates
- Repurposing grant proposals for alternative funding opportunities
- Proactively identifying targeted funding opportunities
Other Services
- Editing papers for publication, including English editing for non-native speakers
- Create and modify graphics for grant proposals, posters, or presentations
- Bioinformatics support
