The faculty in Yale Cytopathology are committed to subspecialty training of pathology residents and fellows. The Department of Pathology also offers a highly intensive one-year Cytopathology fellowship that is comprehensive, including molecular applications to cytology specimens as well as more traditional training in FNA technique, QA and QI exposure, specimen triage and preliminary interpretations. Several opportunities exist for scholarly research projects with our clinical collaborators and also within the department for translational or basic research.
