Specimen Submission
To send cases or request supplies, please contact our Outreach Laboratory Program Coordinator, by email or phone at 203-785-5215. We will provide the appropriate requisitions and material so your specimens will arrive safely and quickly. The specimens can be sent via prepaid FedEx Priority Next Day Service, courier, or on-call pick-up for physicians submitting locally. Whichever method is required, our team will ensure a seamless process.
In our primary service area, Lab Logistics is our dedicated courier service for all routine or STAT laboratory specimen pick-ups. Lab Logistics also handles supply orders and deliveries. Please contact them directly for a specimen pick-up and for supplies, at: Tel: 833-215-7628 Fax: 888-370-5356.
If you are outside of our courier service area, whether in-state, nationally, or globally, your practice can submit specimens through our pre-paid FedEx service. Contact customer service for more information.
Participation in Managed Care Plans

Billing
Yale Pathology Labs will bill the insurance company or financially responsible party directly, per the requisition form that accompanies each specimen submitted to our lab. Please note that patients are responsible for any co-payments, deductibles, or co-insurance under their plan.
