Applicants must apply to BOTH the MENA PAIR program and the Masters of Science in Epidemiology from the AUB Faculty of Health Sciences
Program of study will be Master of Science in Epidemiology from AUB (or in a related field with Program Director approval). For more information about the MS Epidemiology degree, click HERE.
General Requirements for Masters Admission to AUB
- Official university transcript(s) – All levels
- 2 recommendation letters
- GMAT or GRE is required for some Masters programs as detailed at the Graduate FAQ page.
- English language requirements (upon admission)
- Application fees ($50)

IMPORTANT NOTE

All students (Lebanese or non-Lebanese) must secure from the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE) - Equivalence Committee (English, Arabic) (Beirut, UNESCO Palace area), either the equivalence of their diplomas or the permission to enter the freshman class. The Equivalence Committee requires the students to have their official papers such as the original final high school or university grades and diplomas authenticated from countries where they studied: Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Lebanese Embassy. Failure to submit the equivalence/permission to the Office of Admissions by course registration date will result in registration hold and delay/refusal of the residency permits for non-Lebanese students.

MENA PAIR seeks to form a cohort of trainees that is rich in its variety of perspectives and experiences, including prior training. The program is open to those with basic science, public health, and clinical interests. Trainee selection for degree and certificate training will occur annually. The process for trainee selection is as follows:

- Applicants must apply for graduate admission through the AUB online graduate admissions portal prior to applying to MENA PAIR.
- Application Deadline to apply for MENA PAIR Masters starting Fall 2024-2015 is March 14, 2024.
Apply to MENA PAIR
- Applicants must apply to MENA PAIR via the MENA PAIR online portal.
- Applicants must submit:
  - All official university transcript(s)
  - Curriculum Vitae (CV) / Professional Resume
  - Two (2) letters of recommendation
  - Proof of Readiness for University Studies in English (RUSE) as stipulated in the University Graduate Catalogue for requirement for admission into PhD studies.
  - Letter of interest detailing one’s main area of interest within trauma and injury research, relevant prior work, and future plans outlining how this program will shape one’s career goals.
- Application Deadline to apply for MENA PAIR Masters or PhD starting Fall 2022 is March 14, 2024
Interviews: Selected applicants may be invited for a video interview by the selection committee.

Applicants must be accepted by BOTH AUB graduate programs and MENA PAIR admissions committees.
