The Gift of Saying Goodbye
One of the most heartbreaking aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic is that it has prevented hospitalized patients from having visitors, leaving patients to die alone and depriving families of a chance to say goodbye to their loved ones. But the nurses and clinical staff on EP9-5, the infectious disease unit at Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH), have made it possible for many patients and families to actually have that final goodbye.
Yale Launches Website to Encourage COVID Collaboration
Across Yale, faculty are engaged in research, innovation, and clinical efforts to combat coronavirus disease (also known as COVID-19). With the notion that more can be accomplished by working together, Yale has launched the Research, Clinical & Data Driven Responses to COVID-19 website to promote collaboration among Yale faculty and with colleagues around the world.

"Aperture: Portraits of Women Faculty in Medicine" is a photo exhibit featuring women faculty at the School of Medicine that is on display through January 2020, along the hallway between the dean's office and the Beaumont Room on the second floor of Sterling Hall of Medicine.
