Biography

Dr. Hicks is an Assistant Professor of Therapeutic Radiology and sees patients at the Shoreline Medical Center in Guilford and at the Trumbull Radiation Oncology Center. He attended Bowdoin College and earned his medical degree in 2019 from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He served as an intern at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and trained at Yale Cancer Center/Smilow Cancer Hospital, serving as the Education Chief Resident for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Dr. Hicks treats many forms of cancer including genitourinary, thoracic, head and neck, skin, and gastrointestinal malignancies. His academic interests include the intersection of cancer care and viral illness, and he has been involved in treating the first patients at Yale with PET based biology-guided radiotherapy.
