Overview
Jason Greenberg, MD, MHS, is a pediatric nephrologist who treats a wide variety of kidney problems, including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerular disease, high blood pressure, kidney stones, and other kidney disorders.
“I enjoy being able to work with and support patients and families to improve their medical problem and their quality of life,” says Dr. Greenberg, adding that families are pleased to learn that there are many approaches and therapies for treating kidney disease in children. “I like the continuity of care as I am able to treat patients throughout their childhood.”
Dr. Greenberg is also a clinical investigator in the Yale Clinical and Translational Research Accelerator, which is dedicated to applying discoveries generated in the laboratory and in preclinical experiments to the development of clinical studies, and to the design of clinical trials. He is focused on improving risk prediction to assist with clinical decision-making and informing clinical trials targeting children with kidney disease. “Ultimately, my goal is to improve clinical decision-making and outcomes for these patients,” he says.
