Yale Pathologists Share Insight, Latest Research at USCAP 2025

March 27, 2025

Faculty, Residents, and Clinical Fellows from Yale Pathology had a strong presence at USCAP 2025, the 114th annual meeting of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, held March 22 to 27 in Boston.

Yale Pathology was involved in over 40 poster and platform sessions, short courses, evening specialty conferences, and pathology society and working group meetings at the gathering. The annual meeting, which draws pathologists from across the globe, features pathology leaders, including from Yale, who share their insights and latest groundbreaking research. The meeting had over 150 scientific sessions. Yale Pathology hosted a Monday evening reception at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport.

In addition, Yale Pathology Labs staffed a booth at the annual meeting, informing visitors of our latest services and offerings. Stephanie Weirsman, director, Reference Services Business Development, and Kevin Schofield, director Outreach and CB-5 Operations, were on hand to share information on our variety of services, including specialty services, and our world-class faculty, many of whom presented at the meeting.

Thousands of pathologists are USCAP members, and the annual meeting is just one way the organization achieves its goal of providing education and translational research that can improve practices and patient outcomes worldwide. The event also gives pathologists the opportunity to renew old acquaintances and make new ones.
