Evelyn Aviles

Evelyn is an integral member of the Office of Public Health Practice workforce team, contributing significantly to the Connecticut Department of Public Health’s Workforce Initiative. Her role encompasses support for the statewide Public Health Training Academy of Connecticut and the Public Health Fellowship Program in her capacity as a Program Coordinator. With a career spanning more than 23 years, Evelyn has held pivotal roles at Yale New Haven Health and Yale University, providing steadfast support to senior executives and physicians, including the Associate Chief of Surgery and Founder of the Yale Melanoma Program.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Evelyn is deeply committed to community work, reflecting her enduring passion for making a positive impact beyond institutional boundaries.
