AMSA Honors Its YSM Chapter
YSM's chapter of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is receiving the AMSA 2024 Paul Wright Chapter Success Award. Burtness Presents at NIDCR 75th Anniversary Event
On March 15, Barbara Burtness, MD, Anthony N. Brady Professor of Medicine (Medical Oncology), presented at a gathering marking the 75th anniversary of the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR). Her talk was titled, Overcoming Treatment Resistance in Head and Neck Squamous Cancer.
Schueder Earns the MSA's George Palade Award
Florian Schueder, PhD, associate research scientist in the Bewersdorf lab in the Department of Cell Biology, was chosen to receive the George Palade Award by the Microscopy Society of America (MSA) for his contributions to the field of microscopy and microanalysis in the life sciences. The award is given to distinguished postdoctoral fellows.
Souza Cunha Is a ConnAPA Student of the Year
Ana Eliza Souza Cunha, MMSc, PA-C, a December graduate of the Yale Physician Associate Program, has been recognized by the Connecticut Academy of PAs (ConnAPA) as one of its two Students of the Year.
