Emergency Medicine Faculty Win Teaching Awards

Emergency Medicine has won a Trifecta of faculty teaching awards.

  • Dr. Leigh V. Evans was selected as the recipient of the Alvin R. Feinstein Award, given to the faculty member who is chosen as the outstanding teacher of clinical skills.
  • Dr. Karen Santucci was selected as a recipient of the Leah Lowentein Award. This award is to a member of the faculty who is the model of a medical educator whose humane teaching reaches and influences all students regardless of gender, race or socioeconomic background.
  • Dr. Felix Liu was selected as a recipient of the Charles W. Bohmfalk Teaching Prize for teaching in the clinical sciences.

These are not only significant individual achievements but represent the overall value of Emergency Medicine to the school, our students, and the patients we serve.
