Biography
Brian Pittman earned his MS in biostatistics from Columbia University in
1993 and has worked as statistician with the CTNA since 2004. He has collaborated with biomedical
researchers in the design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of clinical
and biomedical research studies for over 28 years. His research interests include the
design and analysis of clinical trials and alternative methodological approaches
to analyze non-normally distributed data typically derived from psychiatric
challenge studies. He as authored or co-authored 200+ scientific, peer-reviewed manuscripts, including numerous publications related the CTNA. Brian collaborates closely with the director of the Statistical Core, Dr. Ralitza Gueorguieva and with the director of Data Management, Ms. Elaine LaVelle.
