Biography
I am a rising senior attending Danbury High School in Danbury, Connecticut. I am interested in medicine and anatomy, and aspire to become an orthopedic trauma surgeon, Currently, I have pursued different internships to explore the different paths of healthcare. Clinically, I hold over 80 hours of experience in the cardiac, medical surgery, and oncological units at Danbury Hospital to receive my license as a certified nursing assistant. In translational research, I was a research assistant at Rudy Ruggles Research Institute and learned many laboratory techniques including gel electrophoresis, polymerase chain reactions, western blotting, and ELISA's. In the school setting, I hold the position of vice president of my HOSA chapter and secretary of the Key Club chapter. In the future, I hope to continue exploring the fields of healthcare and bridging the gaps of healthcare disparity simultaneously.
