Overview
Cristina Brunet, MD, is an assistant professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine. She is a rheumatologist who treats patients with rheumatoid arthritis and other types of inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases including lupus and myositis, osteoporosis, gout, and Lyme disease. She is bilingual, fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Brunet’s most significant interests are in treating patients with inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, and in the clinical teaching of rheumatology trainees.
She was awarded the Rheumatology Fellows Teaching and Mentorship Award by the Section of Rheumatology at Yale School of Medicine for her teaching of rheumatology trainees and medical students.
