Brian P. Hafler, M.D., Ph.D., was named a 2014 Heed Fellow by the Heed Ophthalmic Foundation. This is the most prestigious award to graduating ophthalmology residents and provides an award of $10,000 that will be used with a Foundation Fighting Blindness Award to support his research related to the Role of RNA-splicing factors in retinal degeneration.
