Six biomedical scientists and educators at Yale have been named as Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), an honor bestowed upon members of the organization by their peers in recognition of distinguished efforts to advance science or its applications. Along with Thomas A. Steitz, Ph.D. (see “Structural Biologist Wins Top Science Prize”), the five new Fellows listed below will be inducted at the 2008 AAAS Annual Meeting in Boston in February.
