Haifan Lin, Ph.D., director of the Yale Stem Cell Center, has received the Society for the Study of Reproduction Research Award for his “outstanding contributions to the reproductive sciences.” Lin, also professor of cell biology, of genetics, and of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences, studies the self-renewal of stem cells. He uses Drosophila and mouse germline stem cells to explore the regulation of adult stem cells in the reproductive system.
