The YSM Program for Art in Public Spaces invites members of the Yale medical community to submit images in response to a call for "The Beauty of Science 2025."
Selected works will be on display in the lobby gallery outside the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library from January 2025 to January 2026.

Inclusion criteria:
- Open to YSM Community: Faculty; researchers; staff; residents; postdocs; and students (medical, MHS, PhD, PA, and PA-online programs)
- Images created and/or discovered while working on research projects
Exclusion criteria:
- If a person is recognizable in the artwork, they must sign a release form to be exhibited.
- Even when data is not classified as PHI under HIPAA, content may have privacy or other proprietary rights for use. In order to display digital content such as multimedia, photographs, or other imagery, the university must have permission from the creator, the owner of copyright, or those who are photographed or filmed.
Submission details:
- Digital file: .pdf, .jpeg, .tiff
- Image resolution: at least 300 DPI
- Image size: at least 1 MB, max 1 GB
- Image description: Include a title, brief explanation of the image, and the methodology used to create it
- Limit 3 submissions per person
- If used, please acknowledge the use of AI and what program
Deadline:
Submit your entry by November 22, 2024 using the submission form.
