The Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans is a graduate school fellowship awarded to outstanding immigrants and children of immigrants in the United States. Kingon Lin is a fifth-year MD-PhD student working on his dissertation in the laboratory of Ranjit Bindra MD'07, PhD'05 in the Department of Therapeutic Radiology. Anis Barmada is a first-year MD-PhD student interested in pursuing his PhD in immunobiology. Kingon and Anis are among four new fellows selected at Yale University from over 1,800 applications nationwide for just 30 fellowships in any field at any university in the United States. Including Kingson and Anis, the MD-PhD Program how has THIRTEEN students honored as Soros Fellows since the program began in 1998. Congratulations Anis and Kingson!!
