YSM Alumni from the greater Bay area and those attending the Annual Conference to the Association of American Medical Colleges gathered for a reception on Sunday, November 4 in San Francisco. Dr. Nancy Angoff, Associate Dean of Student Affairs; and Dr. Michael Schwartz, Associate Dean for Curriculum, shared an update on the school's Curriculum Rebuild Project. Dr. Schwartz also demonstrated interactive software on the iPad currently being used in the classroom to train Yale students. All Yale medical students now receive iPads instead of printed curriculum packages. Yale was named a "Standout School" by Apple this summer for our use of iPads in medical education.
