The latest edition of Medicine@Yale is now online. Featured articles include news of a research alliance between the School of Medicine and pharmaceuticals giant AstraZeneca, with a goal of developing next-generation therapies for lung and other cancers. West Campus is now home to the Titan Krios cryoelectron microscope, which brings unprecedented imaging capabilities to the university—allowing investigators to see biological structures in ways they never could before. The faculty member featured in “Lifelines” is Haifan Lin, Ph.D., who has been a leader in stem cell research since its infancy and has directed the Yale Stem Cell Center for more than a decade.
