Philip Corlett, PhD, associate professor of psychiatry, was a keynote speaker at the Chen Institute and Science magazine conference titled, “Artificial Intelligence and Mental Health.”
The conference was November 7-8 in Shanghai at the Shanghai Mental Health Center. Speakers discussed the state of AI and reviewed promising applications of AI for the diagnosis and treatment of mental health.
Corlett spoke about work in his lab, The Belief, Learning, & Memory Lab, where he is principal investigator. He studies delusions, hallucinations, conspiracies, religious beliefs and experiences, with neuroimaging, behavior, computational modelling, behavioral and pharmacological interventions.
