Postdoctoral Fellow
Dr. Yilu Qin, MD, was a Yale Fogarty Fellow through the Global Health Equity Scholars Program (2023–2024). In Malaysia, she explored telemedicine models to support individuals struggling with addiction and transitioning back to community life after incarceration. Prior to this, she served as a telemedicine doctor at the West Haven VA Hospital (2020–2023), providing care to rural and remote veterans. Dr. Qin completed her residency training in Yale’s Internal Medicine-HIV Training Track in 2020. Additionally, she was a Fulbright Scholar (2015–2016), studying HIV self-testing in China. Her career focuses on improving healthcare access for vulnerable and disadvantaged populations.
