Allison Pivirotto

Allison Pivirotto, DNP,FNP-BC is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) who specializes in Head and Neck Surgery. She received her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Delaware in 2009. She began her nursing career at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and after two years, began her employment at Yale New Haven Hospital where she worked as a registered nurse in both the adult emergency department and post anesthesia care unit for almost ten years. She continued her education and graduated from Fairfield University in 2019 with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and began working with the Head and Neck surgical team where she cares for patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings and as a first assistant in the operating room. She is a current member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Society of Head and Neck Nurses. She is interested and active in numerous research projects in her field and received her first publication in 2021 which investigated the role and growth of billing practices of otolaryngologic advance practice providers.
