Thomas Suchowolec

Thomas Suchowolec is a senior high school student at Torrington High School, in Torrington, Connecticut, as well as a part-time student at Northwestern Connecticut Community College. As founder of the Torrington FIRST Robotics Team, co-director of the Torrington area MOTH environmental clean-up initiative, and president of Torrington high school's Voters of Tomorrow advocacy group, Thomas is passionate about different fields of science, research, and political advocacy. Having more than 250 hours of community service completed within the last year, he plans to continue volunteering as an Emergency Department and ICU volunteer at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, as well as at various food banks throughout Torrington. In the 2024-2025 academic year, Thomas looks forward to working as a teacher-assistant, and expanding his involvement with various local and regional medical organizations.
