About

Biography

I attended the University of Cambridge (Emmanuel College), where I graduated with a BA in Natural Sciences (Biological) in 2016. I then completed my MPhil at the Department of Zoology at Cambridge, where I worked in the lab of Dr Tim Weil studying the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton and cytoplasmic dumping during late Drosophila oogenesis. In 2018, I started grad school at Yale University, where I completed three laboratory rotations in the labs of Dr Lynn Cooley, Dr Mustafa Khokha, and Dr Scott Holley. I am now pursuing a PhD in the Khokha lab in the Department of Genetics, where I am studying genetic factors contributing to left-right patterning and heterotaxy in Xenopus tropicalis.
