Onyinye Ejiaka

Onyinye is a rising senior at Fisk University majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Onyinye is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honors Society and aspires to become a physician-scientist. She has biomedical research experience, through which she has studied therapeutic treatments for HPV and HIV. Onyinye also has clinical shadowing experience observing clinical trial patients as well as assisting with patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). These experiences have shaped her desire to pursue a career that allows her to study medical challenges as they relate to women and children.
