Narayani Shankar

Narayani Shankar is currently a junior at Hillcrest High School in Utah. She has always been interested in the intersection of biology/medicine and the humanities, and clinical medicine is the perfect combination of these fields. Narayani has done research in biology that earned several science awards and even led to her experiment being sent to space. Beyond her research, she also likes sharing her interest in biology with others. She started an initiative to increase STEM interest in her community through an after-school middle school club, a seed paper creation event, and an eclipse-watching event, which have earned recognition from organizations like Mathcounts and Hershey.
