Emily Paredes

Hello! I am a rising freshman at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury, Connecticut majoring in biochemistry. I actively participate in Let Youth Lead where we work to improve outcomes for youth in Waterbury as well as Teen Outreach Program where we helped the community and Spanish Community of Wallingford. I attended weekly rehearsals to practice piano which is one of my hobbies and volunteered to help in events. All these experiences helped me build up skills such as communication, leadership, and teamwork and I would love to continue forward to learn more and make a difference in the field of medicine.
