Benjamin A. Fontes, M.P.H., biological safety officer, has received the American Biological Safety Association’s Arnold G. Wedum Distinguished Achievement Award for his “outstanding contributions to biological safety accomplished through teaching, research, service, or leadership.” In 2014 he was Yale’s Environmental Health and Safety Employee of the Year.
