Noah Palm, assistant professor of immunobiology, has been named a 2019 Pew Scholar in the Biomedical Sciences.
Palm was among 22 early-career researchers selected from over 170 nominations submitted by leading academic and research institutions across the United States. The Pew Scholars Program supports young investigators with potential to substantially advance the science of human health.
Palm is also a member of the section of Human and Translational Immunology at Yale School of Medicine, and the Yale Cancer Center. His lab is focused on decoding the diverse impacts of the microbiota (the trillions of microbes that live in and on us) on human health and disease. Pew will provide four years of funding to support Palm in pursuing this research.
